About the Role
Forks Inc is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our dynamic logistics team in Munich. You will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods to maintain our high standards of service excellence.
Responsibilities
•Operate diverse material handling equipment, including reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts, to move inventory.
•Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from heavy goods vehicles with precision.
•Organize and stack merchandise in designated storage areas according to warehouse layouts.
•Perform routine safety inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment before each shift.
•Utilize handheld scanners to update inventory records and ensure digital tracking accuracy.
•Collaborate with the floor management team to optimize picking routes and delivery timelines.
•Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
•Valid industrial truck operator license (Gabelstaplerschein) is mandatory.
•Proven experience operating forklifts within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
•Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 20kg when manual handling is required.
•Strong spatial awareness and a commitment to rigorous safety protocols.
•Communicative proficiency in German; English language skills are a significant advantage.
•Flexibility to work in a shift-based system, including occasional weekends.
•Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to team tasks.
