About the Role
As the Chief Executive Officer for Travel Company Group Spa, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision of a premier tour operator based in the heart of Milan. You will lead the organization through its next phase of digital transformation and international expansion, ensuring operational excellence while fostering an innovative corporate culture.
Responsibilities
•Define and implement the long-term strategic roadmap to drive growth, market share, and profitability across all business units.
•Oversee the digital evolution of the company, optimizing online booking platforms and enhancing the overall customer journey.
•Lead, mentor, and inspire the executive management team to achieve high performance and cohesive cross-departmental collaboration.
•Manage the annual budget and P&L, ensuring financial stability and making data-driven investment decisions.
•Represent the group as the primary brand ambassador to key stakeholders, international partners, and industry associations.
•Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, mergers, or acquisition opportunities to broaden the group’s travel portfolio.
•Monitor global travel trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains a competitive leader in the tourism space.
Requirements
•Master’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
•Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
•Proven track record of managing complex P&Ls and driving significant organizational growth or restructuring.
•Exceptional fluency in both Italian and English; proficiency in a third European language is a distinct advantage.
•Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and global distribution systems (GDS).
•Demonstrated ability to build relationships with institutional investors and high-level stakeholders.
•Highly developed analytical skills combined with a visionary mindset and decisive leadership style.
